Mitch has created and toured dozens of unique shows for theatres, spiegeltents and outdoor stages, fusing humour, spectacle and poetry to deliver emotionally compelling performance art.
Working directly with festival clients, he has visualised and produced custom experiences and activations that create remarkable audience engagement.

Mitch has performed with Circus Oz, Slava’s Snowshow, America’s Got Talent, Snuff Puppets and trained with La Fura Dels Baus.

Mitch’s writing puts politics and philosophy into ordinary contexts, using wit and poetry to explore modern Australian culture.
His adventure stories and essays on circus have been published in a range of journals, including Circus Talk, Fluke Magazine and Swillhouse.
His first novel No Horizon, a memoir about narrowly avoiding a jail sentence in Turkey and learning to overcome anger, will be released in early 2025.

A qualified rigger, rope access technician and ticketed site specialist, Mitch has worked for major companies in the design, construction and delivery of all types of entertainment events.
With over 15 years of experience in circus tents, festival sites, and high risk work, Mitch makes an excellent addition to any production team.
